This year's annual Village Picnic on 9/14 will feature a water-soak fundraiser game for the neighborhood while supporting a local organization and its extraordinary efforts.
Villagers can pay for throws ($5 for three tries) aiming to hit the bullseye and soak the person sitting under a water bucket. All proceeds will go towards the East Oakland Youth Development Center, a program providing free after-school activities, mentoring services, and leadership opportunities for East Oakland youth.

Who can throw?
Well, anyone attending the picnic can! But here's the catch: the older you are, the farther away you'll have to stand.
Who will get soaked?
While we already have a few brave souls, we could always use more volunteers. If you're interested, feel free to reach out to nasuslow@gmail.com. To add to the mix, you'll also get to nominate a friend to get soaked when you get in line. It's all in good fun!
How to donate/participate?
Cash ($5 for three throws). We'll also have a Venmo QR code posted for people to scan. If you can't make the picnic and would like to donate (or are just feeling generous), click here and type "DUNK" in the What's this for? section, so I know it's for the fundraiser.
Please join us this Saturday for an awesome picnic of BBQ, games, face painting and a fantastic way to make a splash in the community!
